Bespoke Landscape Ironwork

Landscape ironwork allows metal to play a more expressive role outdoors, adding structure, definition and character to a space. We design and fabricate custom landscape ironwork across Oxfordshire that responds to its setting, whether the requirement is subtle and functional or more visually prominent.

Design and Application

Our work covers a wide range of applications, including railings, edging, garden structures and architectural features. Every piece is made to measure and developed in response to the landscape, surrounding materials and how the space will be used.

We regularly work on varied and unusual projects and welcome new challenges, particularly where design plays an important role.

Projects and Experience

We have produced landscape ironwork for private homes, manor houses and institutional settings, including work for Oxford colleges, as well as residential gardens. In each case, the focus has been on using metalwork to elevate the space through both function and design, ensuring it feels considered, appropriate and well integrated.

Fabrication and Finish

All of our landscape ironwork is fabricated using high quality steel and finished to perform reliably in outdoor environments. From early discussions and site measurements through to fabrication and installation, we ensure each project is carefully managed to balance durability, purpose and visual quality. We carry out work across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.

Custom steel Garden Arbour

Steel Arbour Oxfordshire.jpeg

This steel garden arbour was designed and built to provide sheltered outdoor seating at The Perch in Oxford, forming a functional yet elegant landscape structure within the pub garden setting. It is intended to support climbing plants, which will gradually establish and form a natural canopy over the roof over time.

The structure is finished with forged scroll detailing, adding a subtle decorative touch that complements its traditional-inspired design while maintaining a refined, handcrafted appearance.

Galvanised Steel Pergola

This galvanised steel pergola is designed with rolled steel arches and welded on-site connections to create a seamless, bolt-free structure. It is built as a framework for climbing plants, allowing it to evolve over time into a living green walkway as vegetation establishes and matures naturally.

Bespoke Steel Fruit Cage

This bespoke steel fruit cage is crafted from rolled steel to create a strong yet refined structural frame with a considered architectural form. The central spine rises from the ground as the defining feature of the design, giving the structure a sense of flow and purpose within the landscape.

Hot-dip galvanising provides long-term protection against corrosion, ensuring durability in all outdoor conditions. The frame was welded on site to achieve a seamless, bolt-free finish, enhancing both strength and visual continuity. Hand-stitched aviary mesh is fixed neatly to the structure, creating a flush, functional enclosure that is both practical and visually minimal.
